HOW DO I HEAR OF YOUR UPCOMING AUCTIONS?
Q: I want to get notifications of upcoming auctions. How can I do that?
A: The easiest way to be notified of upcoming auctions is to click on the "Emailing Lists" link under the Important Info button on our home page. You will be directed to a page where you can select the types of auctions you wish to attend.
Brochures are not mailed on all auctions so the email list is absolutely your best way to learn of our auctions.
The emails and our website have much more information than the mailed brochures including many more pictures, full catalog listings and more. And you can get this information much sooner.
We send these emails for each auction. If you want to discontinue them there is a handy 'unsubscribe' link on each email for that purpose.BACK TO TOP
HOW TO BUY AT ROLLER & ASSOCIATES
Q: I have never been to an auction. What can I expect?
A: While our auctions are quick paced, rest assured, we will not intimidate you or take your bid only because you blinked. We strive to make our auctions friendly and easy to understand for the first time attendee.
Q: How do I know when and where your next auction will be?
A: Simply, click on the Emailing Lists link under the Important Info button on this website, fill out your information and we will send you notifications via email. We recommend adding firstname.lastname@example.org to your address book or list of accepted sites to prevent blocking or filtering. You can also bookmark our upcoming auctions page for the latest auction schedule.
Q: What do I do when I get to the auction, how do I bid?
A: Sign up at the registration table (w/ a valid ID) and you will receive a bidder number. We then encourage you to look over all the items closely. Remember, all auction items are sold as is, where is, so it is your responsibility to look over the items carefully. When the auction begins and you are ready to bid, just simply hold that number up high, so that the auctioneer and staff will be able to see your bid. Our action staff will be happy to assist you and answer any questions that you might have.
Q: Is a preview time available?
A: Yes, there is always ample preview time available for you to look over the items and become familiar with all the items that will be sold during the auction. Preview times will vary, so check the details of that auction.
Q: If I preview and see something that I want to bid on, but am unable to attend the auction, can I place an absentee bid?
A: Yes, contact the auctioneer or registration staff during preview time; you will be given a special form to fill out with the item number, description and the maximum amount that you are willing to pay. Then, during the auction, the auctioneer will bid on your behalf, up to, but not over the designated maximum amount. Certain auctions may have online absentee or real time bidding available as well. This will be noted in the auction information on our website.
Q: If I purchase a vehicle or a trailer when will I get the title?
A: If you pay for your titled item in full with cash, credit card, cashier check, bank wire transfer or check with a letter of guarantee, then you will receive your title when you pay. If you pay for your titled item with a check that is not guaranteed, we will mail the title to you 15 business days after you pay.
Q: What form of payment is accepted?
A: We gladly accept cash, cashier check, personal or business check w/ bank letter of guarantee or after approval through our tele-check system, MasterCard, Visa, Discover & bank wire transfer. All items must be paid for on the day of the auction or as announced by the auctioneer.

Q: Do I need to remove my items the day of the auction, or can they be picked up at a later date?
A: Each auction is different, there will be a specified time period for removal, and this is dependent upon the venue of the auction. The removal period is usually at least through the day after the auction. If there is a problem removing your items by the specified removal time, please inquire before the auction if any special arrangements will be available for later pick up.
Q: Will there be someone there to help me load up my purchases?
A: At the auctions conducted at our facility we provide complimentary forklift loading, carts and dollies. At other auctions please inquire as to the availability of loading facilities as they vary and loading is the purchaser's responsibility. We do not supply tie down materials or packaging. Simply ask any of our staff and they will be more than happy to assist you.
Q: Where can I see the complete Catalog for the auction?
A: For each auction we will post the complete catalog, including pictures and descriptions, on the website typically at least 36 hours before the auction. Click the link to enter the auction to view the catalog.
Q: How does sales tax work? What do I need to do if I think I am exempt?
A: Sales taxes will be assessed based on where the items are physically located at the time of the auction. Tax exemption status may be claimed under three scenarios: resale/wholesale, charitable organization, or government entity. Bidders must provide a copy of their state tax exemption certificate and fill out a Colorado Affidavit of Exempt Sale form during the payment process. Bidders shipping their items out of the state of Colorado are still required to pay sales tax. Taxes on titled items are determined based on the location of the sale and the location of the purchaser. If you are an licensed vehicle dealer, we must have a current copy of your dealer license as well as a current copy of your resale license.
Roller & Associates, Inc. bears the burden of proof as to whether a sale is exempt from taxation. If a dispute arises, tax will be charged and the bidder may apply for a refund from the State of Colorado Department of Revenue.

Click that link and fill out all the required information (make sure the address you enter is the billing address for the credit card you enter). 2. Internet Bidding on Proxibid.com (Live on-line bidding and internet only bidding)
These auctions are conducted through Proxibid.com. Here internet bidders compete in real-time against the bidders at the live auction. This is performed right from the bidders’ computer at the Proxibid site. The bidding applet will show pictures and descriptions of the items listed.
It is recommended that bidders physically preview the assets if possible as in all auctions the winning bidders are obligated to pay for their purchases regardless of their condition.
Bidders may also place maximum bids before the selling of items and the Proxibid system will bid up to the maximum if necessary.
Click this link to enter the auction:
Click on the ‘Want to participate? Click here.’ button and fill out all the required information. If you have not done so, create an account with Proxibid. You will then be emailed a bidder number. But do make note of your user name and password for Proxibid. If you have any questions please call our premier line at proxibid, 877-295-2514.
